Sacramento, California (February 26, 2017) – Minor injuries were reported Sunday evening after two vehicles collided head-on in East Sacramento.

The accident took place at about 5:34 p.m.

As per the CHP, a black sedan overturned after colliding head-on with Cal Fire on eastbound Jackson, just east of Excelsior Road

Medics responded to the scene and confirmed that minor injuries were sustained in the accident.

The wreck was blocking the eastbound and westbound lanes.

The incident remains under investigation.

Santa Rosa Mountain Hawk Drive DUI Crash Kills Michajla Bailey Kostecka, Rebecca Iris Guillory Arrested

Santa Rosa, California (January 2, 2017) – Michajla Bailey Kostecka, 18, of Santa Rosa died late Sunday night in suspected DUI crash, according to a police report.

Kostecka, who was a passenger in a two-door Chevrolet Cavalier driven by her 19-yerar-old friend Rebecca Iris Guillory, was killed in the crash.

At about 11 p.m. Sunday night, the Chevrolet skidded off winding Mountain Hawk Drive and slammed into a sycamore tree.

Kostecka was pronounced dead at the scene while Guillory sustained minor injuries.

Guillory was later arrested by the Santa Rosa for DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter.

The fatal crash remains under investigation by the police.

Man Struck and Killed By Unidentified Car in Sacramento, Police Asks Public To Help Identify Hit-and-run-Driver

Sacramento, California (January 1, 2017) – A deadly hit-and-run crash was reported early Sunday morning on Rio Linda Boulevard in Sacramento, according to a police report.

At about 12:30 a.m. Sunday, the Sacramento Police Department officers responded to reports of a pedestrian down on the road near Alamos Avenue.

The man did not survive the injuries and was declared dead at the scene.

As per the report, the police believe that the man was struck by a white-colored SUV or pickup with possible front-end damage and a missing headlight.

The incident remains under investigation by the Sacramento Police Department.
